Marian Wood Allred

October 3, 1932 — May 10, 2022

Marian Wood Allred passed away at age 89 on May 9, 2022 at her home in Riverton, Utah. She was born on October 3, 1932 in West Jordan, Utah to William and Hazel Wood. She married George J. Allred on September 20, 2008.
Marian loved gardening. She loved making the world around her beautiful. Marian loved reading, she read westerns, novels and the newspaper. Marian often read the obituaries to make sure she wasn’t in there every day, she would often say.
Marian loved cooking amazing meals for her family and friends. She loved baking, especially her famous fruit cake every year at Christmas time. She was loved by all. She had a smile that lights up the world and made you feel special in her presence. She made you feel heard and always offered a hug. There’s nothing Marian wouldn’t do for you in her power, if she could do it, she would.
Marian is a very integris person. Her word meant everything to her and she did everything she could to be her word and so much more.
As grandma she often sang songs to all of us grandkids. She baked cookies and often made her famous homemade chocolate pudding. She was always quick with a hug and a Band-Aid when you had a boo boo. She loved to laugh and cut jokes all the time. We spent so many days talking and laughing, driving and shopping… Marian loved taking her grandchildren shopping and spoiling us all with a little something special.
Marian loved the holidays and every year she had her home decorated for the holidays, she would make it filled full of joy and love.
Marian was a hard worker, committed and loyal to all the companies that she ever had the honor and privilege to work for. Marian took pride in listening and carefully handling thousands of details and executing them at 100% and then some, she always went the extra mile.
Marian is the epitome of grace service love and forgiveness💗
She will be dearly missed and leave a massive legacy of Love to follow!
We love you Marian always, now you can fly with the angels!
All our love,
Your Loving Family
