Maria Ursula (Lula) Ulibarri

Maria Ursula (Lula) Ulibarri was born to Carlos Ulibarri and Petra Tafoya Ulibarri on July 15, 1927 and passed on 4/11/2017.  Maria spent her early years in Plaza Blanca, NM, Later she moved to Colorado Springs, CO. where she started working as a nanny for a family from there, later she moved to England with the same family, but it wasn’t for her, so she relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah where she lived the rest of her life.  In Salt Lake she worked at the Salt Lake Clinic till the age of 80 when she retired.  Maria was preceded in death by both her parents (Carlos and Petra), 2 brothers; Manuel and Feliberto. 2 sisters; Ana Maria Lopez and Petrolina Ulibarri.  She is survived by several nephews and nieces, also by her care givers of nine years; Oliver and Lucy.  The family would like to thank Marie Ulibarri for her help.  Also the staff of Paramount Health and Rehab. Facility for their professional care and the Hospice staff also.  Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 1:00 PM in St Ann’s Catholic Church.  Viewing will be Monday evening 6-8 PM April 17, 2017 at Memorial Deseret Mortuary (36 East 700 South) in Salt Lake City.  Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Arrangement entrusted to Memorial Deseret Mortuary.
