Maria Lucinda (Lucy) Lovato Meifu, 88 passed away August 16, 2013 at the Rocky Mountain Care Murray. She was born August 3, 1925 in Durango, Colorado the daughter of Jose Efren and Maria Elviria Carillo Lovato.
She married George T. Meifu on October 25, 1951 in Salt Lake City. She worked at the China Village and the U.S. Forest service.
She is survived by her children Dorene Kuhn, Camille Meifu, Daughter in law Virlene, and Allison (Keith) Sidwell, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Her sisters Carmen Valdez, Kay (Jimmy) Madrid, Tillie (Manuel) Salazar, and one brother Joe (Carla) Lovato.
She was preceded in death by her husband George, son Marty, son in law Larry Kuhn, grandson Kirk, Parents, sister Kelly, and brother Junior.
A Viewing will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 7-9 at Murray Memorial Mortuary 5850 S. 900 E, Murray, Utah. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 Wednesday at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery. Friends may leave condolences by going to www. MurrayMemorial.com
