Maria Guadalupe Huerta Estrella

Maria Guadalupe Huerta Estrella, 83, of Salt Lake City passed away on February 2, 2019. She was born on July 15, 1935 in Michoacan (Tansitaro) Mexico to Luis Huerta and Gabriela Estrella. She married three times during her life. In her younger years, Maria made a career of singing and dancing. She traveled throughout Mexico and loved spending time with her family, and cooking delicious meals for them. Some of her biggest accomplishments were her 15 children.
Maria is survived by eight daughters and two sons. She is preceded in death by four of her daughters and one son: Soledad, Leticia, Bertha, Gloria and Manuel.
There will be a viewing for Maria on Thursday, February 7 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, February 8 at 11:00 AM with the Rosary beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Therese Of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 7832 Allen Street, Midvale, Utah 84047. There will be another viewing following Mass from 1:00-3:00 PM back at Memorial Redwood Mortuary. Interment at Memorial Redwood Cemetery will follow at 3:30 PM.
