Maria "Montse" Montserrat Miranda

Maria Montserrat "Montse" Miranda, 33, of Salt Lake City, Utah but native of Asheville, North Carolina was born on April 8th,1991 and sadly passed away too soon on September 14th, 2024.

Montse was known for always being strong in her faith, friendly and kind to everyone, loving so fiercely and unapologetically and worrying about everyone before herself. Montse never met a stranger, only new friends. You weren't able to meet Montse without falling in love with her. She was truly loved by so many friends and family who will remember her contagious smile, her quick wit and incredible sense of humor.

Montse was devoted to her family and is survived by her mother, Elba Miranda, sisters and their husbands Judy Miranda and Elizabeth Summers, brothers and their wives Humberto Miranda, Ricardo Leon, Luis Leon, Lorenzo Leon and Marco Leon and her nephew Maddox Reid, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her terribly. She enjoyed listening to music, watching her classic shows and movies, spending time with Lemon, her basset hound and enjoying any time she could with family.

Montse's family will be hosting a Celebration of Life at Groce Funeral Home at 1401 Patton Avenue in Asheville, North Carolina. A date and time will be announced as soon as we are able to bring Montse home to North Carolina.
