Margie Eggli

Margie Carol Eggli was born January 18, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Floyd Ellis and Anna Lapreal Nilsson Hiatt. She passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014. She was married to Ernest Leonard Eggli, October 1951 and sealed January 26, 1965. Margie was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening, painting, shopping, and she spent several years working with the cub scouts. She courageously endured the effects of a stroke she had several years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sisters, Donna, Ramona, and Barbara; her brother Steve and her granddaughter Mindy. She is survived by her sisters: Iris, Rosella, and Gloria; her brother Floyd, and her four children, Carol (Ron), Margie (Dave), Ernie (Cherie), and Mike, and by her 5 beautiful grandchildren and 16 extraordinary great-grandkids. We’re thankful for her friends who cared for her deeply. We would like to express gratitude to the caregivers at Kindred Care and Rehab in St. George, Utah. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah where friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Park.
