Margaret (Peg) Gregor Goodell

Margaret (Peg) Gregor Goodell was born June 7, 1923 in Sheridan, Wyoming. She died peacefully November 5, 2018 with her family by her side. Graduated from Sheridan School of Nursing as a registered nurse (R.N.), specializing in psychiatry. She was an R.N. at the V.A. Hospitals in Sheridan, Wyoming and Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a psychiatric nurse at Holy Cross Hospital for 12 years, Peg was a member of Fort Douglas Ladies and Ladies of the Guard, Waaimes and Beta Sigma Phi, having served as president of all four organizations. Peg was proud of her family and her Hungarian and Wyoming heritage. Loved fancy high heeled shoes, jewelry and all cats and dogs. She married Richard (Dick) Gregor in 1945. He died in a plane crash in 1967. She then married Lt. Col. Ralph E. Goodell in 1975. He died in 2006. She is survived by her children Becky (Craig) Christiansen, Rick (Charlie) Gregor, John (Liz) Goodell, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, with another due in June. Preceded in death by her son, Randy (Lou) Gregor and granddaughter, Bonny Gregor. Special thanks to the Coventry at Cottonwood Assisted Living.
