Margaret Marie Shell

Margaret Marie Shell, passed away on November 10, 2018 in Sandy, Utah. Margaret was born in Sheridan, Wyoming on December 11, 1948 to Lawrence and Ellen Shell.
Margaret was a longtime resident of Hillcrest Care Center, where she was loved by many. She loved going on outings with staff and other residents. She loved to bowl and compete in Special Olympics, winning numerous medals.
Margaret is survived by brothers; Larry (Peggy) Shell, William (Dianne) Shell, Chris (Monica) Shell, Don Shell and sisters; Josie Shell (Chester) Yee and Melody Shell (Dion) Denault and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence, mother, Ellen, brother, Freddy and sister Phyllis (Loos).
The family would like to offer a very special thank you to Holly Tavonatti and Brian Heugly, and all of the staff at Hillcrest Care Center.
The family requests that in the honor of Margaret, attendees please wear something red, which was Margaret’s favorite color.
All services will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 S Redwood Road, West Jordan. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM, with a viewing prior to services at 9:00 AM
