Marcus Ortega

Marcus Ortega, a son, brother, father, boyfriend, cousin, grandson, and friend was suddenly taken from us.  He was a great person who cared about everybody and always wanted to help out in any way he could.  He was a big teddy bear and his family was his priority and his little sister’s and kids were his whole life.  He was a Denver Broncos fan, gamer, into great movies and comics.  He was always joking around and always made people laugh.  Now he is in a better place, happy watching over his family and friends.  Marcus is survived by his parents, Gino Ortega and Arlene DeHerrera, his children Isabella Ortega and Marcus Ortega Jr., sisters Sabrina and Rain Ortega, his girlfriend Latisha Goodman, grandparents Marilyn DeHerrera and Isaac DeHerrera, and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.  Marcus is preceded in death by his great grandma Marian Paul, Uncle Don DeHerrera, grandma Boatie, and other family members.  A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 6 to 8 at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016, 2:00 PM, with a viewing one hour prior to the service at Redwood Memorial Mortuary.  To help donate for funeral expenses please go to www.gofundme.com/23v4w64.
