Marco Irazoqui

January 17, 1999 — March 4, 2022

Marco Antonio Irazoqui Jr.
Marco Antonio Irazoqui Jr. born January 17, 1999, left this life much too soon, due to an unfortunate brain injury. Marco’s presence here will be missed by so many. Marco came into this world with a twinkle in his eye and a contagious smile. He was always able to make those around him smile as well and feel comfortable. Anyone who met Marco couldn’t help but like him, he could even make the frowniest of faces turn upside down. Marco grew up in the Midvale area with his Nanna. He enjoyed all the typical things kids did like skateboarding, biking, listening to music and just hanging out with friends. He especially enjoyed the time spent with those referred to as the 3 amigos. Growing up for Marco was not always the simplest as there were many roadblocks and difficult paths to cross. However, despite life’s challenges he was able to always see the good not only in himself but in those around him and grew into a responsible young man.
After graduating from high school Marco found a job as a finish carpenter and was always proud of the work he did. He started dating a long-time friend from school Ellie and she, decided he was the one for her. Together they made each other complete and began their lives together. They started a family which proved to be one of Marco’s proudest moments. Being a dad was the best thing ever and that twinkle that was in his eye he shared with his little girl Olive.
Marco was always a caring and thoughtful person. Always trying to make others feel better when they were down or helping whenever he could. As he did in life he continued to do in his passing, expressing the desire to help others.
Marco, through the organ donor program on March 4, 2022, was able to help those in need by donating vital organs and tissue as he left this life.
Marco is survived by his best friend and fiancée Ellie Sutton and their daughter Olive Lynn. Two sisters, Haylee Borg and Matalee Long and one brother, Brayden Joe Long. His mother Melinda Irazoqui and his father Marco Irazoqui Sr. Grandparents, Cindy Long(nanna), Rosa De LaRosa, Dan Long and Clark Monk. His aunt Marci and uncles Darren and Chad along with numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Marco’s favorite flower was the lotus blossom. Much like the lotus blossom he grew through murkiness and light. Petal by petal, strong yet fragile becoming a beautiful person for all to love and enjoy but only for a brief time. Heaven gained another twinkling star. Marco, shine bright upon us.
