Marcia Davis Young Mattson

Marcia Davis (Young) Mattson “Marci” died peacefully at home surrounding by her loved ones, on March 22, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 76.
Marci was born on August 24, 1941 in Santa Anna California. She spent most of her youth growing up in Lawrence, Kansas. She married Willard P. Young in 1963 and had two children, Keri and Bob. Later divorced. Marci married John Paul Mattson in 1989.
Marci was a little firecracker and fought a courageous battle to the very end. She took a sample corner out of every cake and gave the best hugs. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Marci worked for 20 years at Audiology Associates where she had many friends and associates.
Marci is survived by her husband, John Paul Mattson; children, Keri Holt (Richard) and Robert (Sandra) Young. Stepchildren: Jody (Lon) Hendershot, Cindy (Randy) Hermansen, Patrice (Mick) Quigley, Tim (Linda) Mattson and Holley Mattson. She had 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Leah Davis.
