March Timoteo Malaeulu

March 8, 1952 — September 29, 2024

Our beautiful Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunty, and friend, March Timoteo Malaeulu passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones with her final moments filled with love and comfort.

Her journey on earth was extraordinary. She was a master of all trades. She had a talent of crafting. Every family event she happily made traditional attire for her grandchildren to perform in. She loved to arrange flowers and made amazing creations such as Hakus and leis. She had taste in fashion as she loved to dress up and wear different styles. She would also make her own creations. When it was time to go out her hair was always done, eyebrows to perfection and make up ready to go and not to forget a sei in her hair. She is known to love purple and she always stated because that was the royal color. At home she loved to decorate and arrange her room and living room according to her mood. She loved to have a clean house and would blast her Samoan music every time she cleaned or cooked. She was known as the kitchen Queen. Always in charge of the kitchen at family events and at home. She was the boss and made sure things happened in the kitchen. Her cooking was amazing and you could always taste the love. Especially her Panikeke. All can never be replicated. She was a social butterfly and loved to make friends everywhere she went. She was an example of love and compassion and was a mother to all. A huge part of her life was dedicated to raising children aside from her own. Part of her life, she was a foster mother caring for troubled teens or kids left by their own parents. She always wanted a big family. She raised her friend’s children, cousins, sibling’s children, ward members, those who lost their parents and many more leading and guiding them throughout life. She loved her grandchildren. Raising them and seeing them learn and grow made her happy. She loved to watch them perform whether it was singing, dancing, church events or sports games. She always remained proud. Her family was her everything. She loved her children and loved her own family. She talked daily about the days she was raised with her siblings and her parents. Her home was Nanakuli and always longed to go back. She talked about the unforgettable teachings that remained with her forever from her family and raised her own the same. She visited often until she was physically uncapable of returning. Her heart was always there. The gospel was her life and she was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She shared her testimony everywhere she went any chance she got. And followed the savior in love and compassion. She loved feeding the missionaries and getting to know them. And working alongside them. Her best time was being a missionary. She fellowshipped many and stood as a pillar of love to all who needed it. Above all she loved her eternal companion Fiailoa. She was a devoted wife, always spoiling him and giving him all that he desired and more. She was an example of strength, love and compassion even until her last breathe. She is now pain free. Free of worry and trial. Reunited with her parents, siblings and many other loved ones she has longed to be with. Embraced with forever love and peace.
