Manuel Chavez , 31, passed away on Sunday, August 2nd in Salt Lake City, UT.
Manuel was born August 26, 1988 in Los Angeles, CA to Salvador Chavez and Maria Banuelos. He is survived by his beloved father Salvador and stepmom Martha Chavez, his longtime girlfriend Jessica Aguirre, his sister’s Susana Brenner (Nathan), Cristina Chavez De La Riva (Victor), Reyna Zavaleta (Arturo), his big brother Salvador Chavez Jr. He leaves behind his nieces Maribel Chavez & Carolina Zavaleta and his nephews Lucas & Leo Brenner, Manny & Maxx De La Riva, as well as a lot of aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much.
Manuel loved snowboarding, fishing, grilling and spending time with his family. Manuel was very positive, outgoing and one of the kindest people you could ever meet. Manuel will be sorely missed.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Guadalupe Chavez and Apolonia Chavez Sandoval, his maternal grandmother Guadalupe Flores and his dear friend Alex.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary located at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah 84123. There will be a graveside service immediately following at the same location.
Masks are mandatory at all viewing and funeral services.
