Mannix Agnew

February 10, 2013 — June 12, 2014

Mannix Mags Agnew, joined his sister Maggie in Heaven after battling a genetic disorder early in the morning on June 12, 2014, surrounded by his parents, family and loved ones. Our little “Bubba” was born February 10, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Sean and Michelle Agnew.
In Manny’s short life here on earth he had the gift of making people feel loved and special. Although he was small and fragile, his heart was big and his personality was strong. He was a fighter to the end. Manny loved his pacifiers, minky blankets, chapstick and crunching chips in his hands like he was the “Hulk”. These things could always bring him comfort. He found joy in riding his Mini Coop and loved Sully from Monsters, Inc.
Above all, Mannix loved his family. He loved to be held and bounced by his brother Taveon. He found peace within the songs his sister Hailey would sing to him and enjoyed watching them play sports. With his mom, the most special moments were snuggling during naptime. The moments his dad cherished the most were the frequent walks they’d take outside.
We have been so blessed to have Mannix in our lives and have learned so much about love and compassion from him. We are very thankful to PCMC and especially the team of doctors that worked directly with Mannix.
He will be extremely missed by all those who loved him. We love you, Manny, always and forever.
Mannix is survived by: loving parents, Sean and Michelle; sister Hailey (9); brother Taveon (7); and many grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mannix was preceded in death by his sister Maggie Alyce Agnew.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 11:00 am at the LDS Chapel, 1111 E. Charlton Ave., Salt Lake City, UT. A viewing for friends and family will be held on Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the church. Interment to follow at Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 S. Memory Lane, Holladay.
