Manamo’Ui Tuai

On November 10th, 2018 our beloved, Manamo’ui Tuai, returned to the open arms of our Heavenly Father. Mana was born on October 20th, 1958 in Haatafu Hihifo, Tongatapu to Paula Misinale Tuai (Utulei Tuai) and Tapanima Kolo Halahuni (Taniela Halahuni).
After converting to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Mana moved to the United States. Mana was happily married to the love of his life, Sisilia Sitoafa Tausinga Tuai, for 30 years. Together they have three beautiful children; Tapanima Sisilia Tuai, Petisili Uifo’ou Leilani Tuai, and Samuela Isileli Tausinga Tuai. And one beautiful grandson; Paula OfaKiTonga. Mana dedicated his life to his work and his family. For over thirty years Mana owned his own landscaping business. Nothing brought Mana more joy than spending time with his wife, kids, and his only grandson.
Throughout Mana’s life, this selfless and humble man insured that his family was always taken care of. Mana was an outspoken man who enjoyed speaking with everyone he came across. His sense of humor, genuine smile, and loving warm presence will deeply be missed by many.
Mana is preceded in death by his father; Paula Tuai, mother; Tapanima Halahuni, and two younger brothers; Simi Moana Mataika Tuai and Spencer Talau Lavalasi Tuai.
Mana is survived by his wife; Sisilia Tuai, three children; Tapanima, Petisili, Samuela, and grandson; Paula OfaKiTonga. Mana is remembered by his mother; Utulei Tuai, father; Taniela Halahuni, siblings; Petisili Tauteoli (Lihai), Hetti Afimeimounga (Tevita), Sione Tuai (Latai), Uifo’ou Laloni (Mani), Peleketi Kolo (Mona), Nanasi Latu, Halamehi Halahuni, Rona Heimuli (Sione), Finau Halahuni (Ngini), and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral viewing on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 6pm, Family viewing at 9am with the bishop program to follow at 1pm. Viewings to be held at: LDS Chapel 2850 W. 3835 S. WVC, UT 84119. Burial ending at the Redwood Cemetery.Service Information
