Madeleine Kennedy Keller was born on December 23, 1999 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ron and Michelle (Tatton) Keller. Maddie fought for her life for 5 days and passed away due to complications from leukemia.
Maddie was an amazing lacrosse player and loved playing for the Copper Hills Grizzlies, as well as her other competition teams. She really enjoyed being on the same team as her best friend and sister Payton. Maddie enjoyed watching the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and the Oakland Raiders each and every weekend with her father during football season. She really knew more about the players on the teams, who was starting and why, than anyone out there. Maddie had a contagious smile, an infectious laugh and was a true friend to many; she dearly loved her sister Payton and her life-long protector and brother, Colton. She loved living and experiencing new things, she craved being with her friends, texting, snap chatting and face timing every day sometimes all through the night. Maddie had many goals and aspirations but was excited about living for the moment. She was funny, kind, full of life and always required a hug from her family especially her mom. There are not enough words to express how great of a person Maddie was.
“We love you Maddie and will miss you forever”.
Maddie is survived by her parents, her brother and sister, and many relatives. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Truman Keller; her aunt, Tara Sue (Tatton) Gray.
