M. Patricia "Pat" Christensen

Our beloved Mom, Sister, and Grandma, peacefully passed into the arms of her Father in Heaven on July 30th. Patty was an extraordinary human being with a beautiful soul. Anyone who knew Patty knew her generous hugs, and the smile on her face.

Patty was born to Leslie and Mildred Rowberry on August 30th, 1934, in Salt Lake City Utah. She is survived by one brother Richard and was preceded in death by (siblings and husband)

Patty met the love of her life Thayne with whom she had 4 children Paul (Ashlee) Christensen, Steve (Dr. Allison Hannah) Christensen, Carolyn (Rick) Richardson, and Gregory Christensen. Her four Grandchildren, Danny, Bradly, Cole, Sofia, and Emma, and one great-grandchild Blakelynn who will miss her beyond measure.

As a teen, she drove a staff car and Air Force Officers around Patrick Air Force Base in Florida. Later she worked for First Security Bank in Utah and cared for young children in her Bountiful Neighborhood.

Years after her beloved husband Thayne, twin brother Paul, and Mother Mildred passed, her resilience was admirable and the constancy of her “cheeky” humor stands out. Even when she reported periods of loneliness, she was quick to cheer up and “count her many blessings.”

Those who knew her were touched by her kindness and loving spirit.

Patty will be laid to rest next to her husband at Memorial Lakeview Mortuary & Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful.
