Lynn Nial Meinzer, a California native born April 8, 1952 and Utah resident, passed away February 7, 2017, while preparing for another winter adventure. Lynn was known for his excitement about even the littlest things in life, a bright personality that touched and influenced many people’s lives.
His greatest achievements include raising his daughter Taralyn, and his six sons, Michael (Brittanie), David (Leslie), Nathan (Sydney), Jordan, Spencer, and Sam. Including them in his adventures brought joy to his and their lives. His seven grandchildren were also able to develop a fun and loving relationship with him.
He worked very hard to build many beautiful and luxurious homes in his contracting business.
He was a BYU Young Ambassador from 1971-1976, traveling the world and performing on the trombone and in one of their favorite skits, Stars and Stripes in the Hand Band.
He leaves behind his loving wife Lisa, and four siblings: Deanne, Rona, Jacque, and Terry, and his children and grandchildren as mentioned.
Friends may call at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, 1640 Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, on Friday, Feb 17, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 18 at the North Salt Lake Stake Center, 900 Eaglepointe Drive, North Salt Lake. Viewing at 10 a.m., services at 11 a.m., followed by the interment at the Lakeview Memorial Cemetery.Service Information
