Lynette Louise Evans, a devoted mother, sister, and friend, passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on January 1, 1957, in Sunland, California, to Roy and Evelyn Williams, Lynette lived a life filled with love, hard work, and adventure. Lynette is survived by her four children: Crystal, Audrianna, Johnathan, Angelina and her 13 grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Wayne, Brad, Roger, Barbara, and Patty. Her family was her greatest joy, and she loved nothing more than spending time with them.
Throughout her life, Lynette worked in various roles, including as a building care specialist, postal worker, bus driver, and certified nursing assistant (CNA). Her dedication and compassion for others shone through in every aspect of her work. In her free time, Lynette enjoyed making blankets for her loved ones, crafting, hiking, biking, playing card games, and attending plays. She was also a talented bodybuilder and took great pride in her physical fitness.
A wake service will be held on February 21, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.at the LDS Church, 290 W. 1045 N., Cedar City, UT 84721. A memorial service will be held on February 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 S. 900 E., Murray, UT 84121.
Lynette's love, kindness, and spirit left an impression on everyone she came in contact with. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and her memory will be cherished forever.
