Lynda Mcfadden Moore

Lynda McFadden Moore, age 76, passed away on July 27, 2022 in her Cottonwood Heights home. Lynda was the youngest of three children born to Ross(Ted) and Zola McFadden in Provo, UT on April 6, 1946. Lynda was an English Major at BYU and was an avid reader, beautiful writer, and a dedicated friend. She is survived by her brother David(Rosemary) McFadden, son Ethan Knight,  son Jonathan(Regina) Moore, daughter Lindsay Morrell, and stepdaughter Rebecca(Blake) Peterson, seven grandchildren and step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Lynda grew up in her mother’s pie shop, Mom McFadden’s Pies in Provo, UT and carried on a lifetime of baking and candy making. Lynda was often accompanied with fresh-baked bread, cakes, caramels, toffies, cookies, and many other confections. Lynda found so much joy through her generosity and compassion towards helping others.
She was proud of her calling in the Church and the relationships she forged with her neighbors and friends. She is dearly missed by all who loved her.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 9th at her Church located at 2925 E Bengal Blvd between 7-9PM followed by a graveside service at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery on Wednesday, August 10th at 10AM.
