Lyle A Farley

Our loving father, grandpa, great-grandpa, great-great-grandpa, and uncle, Lyle Albert Farley, passed away on December 11, 2019 at the age of 91. He was born to Brian Farley and Elva Doty on January 23, 1928. He was the third child out of eight that joined the Navy when he was 17 years old serving our country during WWII and the Korean War. In 1949, he married Bernice Hillard and they had three kids while he worked for Kennecott after the Navy. After retiring from Kennecott, he was the care taker of Manor and Uintah lands in the Uintah Mountains.
He is survived by his three kids Michael Farley, Rick (Sheila) Farley, and Michelle (Joe) Valdez. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Bernice, his second wife Reva, and his sister Helen.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM with a viewing held one hour prior beginning at 10:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. Interment to follow at the same location following the services.
