Lydia Pauline Ashley Woolsey

June 9, 1925 — January 1, 2016

Lydia Pauline Ashley Woolsey, 90, passed away of natural causes at the Caribou Memorial Hospital Living Center in Soda Springs, Idaho.  Lydia was born June 19, 1925 to Charles Thomas Ashley and Sophie P. Algiers Ashley.  Married April 1, 1941 to Leslie E. Woolsey and he passed away Dec. 4, 1989.  She is survived by 4 sons, Lee (Karen) American Fork, Randy of West Valley City, Ralph “Duff” (Linda) Soda Springs, Idaho, Jeff of West Valley City,  a foster son, Dave Brundle of Salt Lake City, 21 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews (greats and great-greats). Lydia was loved by all, whose lives she touched.  Lydia was preceded in death by her father Charles T. Ashley and her mom Sophie P. Ashley, husband Leslie, 4 sisters: Margaret Ashley, Mable Jonson, Emma Match, and Katherine Allen, 2 brothers: Charles Ashley and Vernal Ashley, 2 grandsons: Levi Woolsey and Brian Gittens, and 1 great grandson, Gary Lee Fatheringham. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM with a viewing one hour prior at Redwood Memorial Mortuary.
