Louise Fahrni Roberts Harrison

March 11, 1920 — August 13, 2018

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend Louise Roberts Harrison passed away on August 13, 2018 at the age of 98. She was born on March 11, 1920 in Tooele, Utah to Gottfried and Clara Isabell Fraser Fahrni. She was the youngest of 4 siblings, two brothers and one sister. She grew up in Lark, Utah and graduated from Bingham High School where she was involved in many activities including sports, choir, and cheerleading. She married her sweetheart Boyd E. Roberts on March 26, 1938 and together they raised three children Lee, Max and Marian. Louise was a devoted mother and loving grandmother, and her family was her greatest joy in life. Following Boyd’s death in December of 1979, she met and married Quentin Harrison on August 8, 1985. They remained happily married until his passing in February of 1990.
Louise was a supervisor for many years at American Linen Supply Company. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Bowling was her passion; she bowled three-four times a week up until the age of 92. Her average was about 180, with several games around 279. She bowled in several leagues and was on the state travel team. She had many dear friends that she met through bowling and in her community in Rose Park.
Louise enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, quilting, crocheting, needle work, watching baseball, reading western novels, and chocolate. She especially loved watching “Gunsmoke”. Louise had a great sense of humor and was always positive. She was very independent and never wanted to burden anyone. She took great pride in her beautiful hair and finely manicured nails.
She is preceded in death by her parents Gottfried and Clara, siblings Arthur, Fred and Elva, husband Boyd E. Roberts, husband Quentin Harrison, and son Lee Boyd Roberts.
She is survived by her children Max Roberts and Marian (Michael) Holmes, 18 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
