Louann Guymon Hainsworth

October 5, 1934 — December 28, 2020

LouAnn Hainsworth, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend returned to her Heavenly Father on December 28, 2020. She was born in Huntington, Utah on October 5, 1934, to the late Brigham Neil and Oral Melissa Guymon. She married Robert Eugene Hainsworth on July 3, 1964, who preceded her in death on September 26, 2010.
She was the oldest of 4 children: 2 brothers, Art (Sharon) and Don (Doreen), and 1 sister, Shanna (Richard).
LouAnn had a beautiful, bright smile and an infectious laugh. She enjoyed company and her company was easy to enjoy. She cherished and appreciated all of her relationships deeply.
Mom lived for and enjoyed the many adventures with her family and friends. She was always reminiscing and sharing the countless stories that filled her life and her heart.
LouAnn loved the outdoors. She and Bob spent many fun filled years as members of the Utah Family Campers and RVers. She was always up for a good time whether it was a twirl on the dance floor, a party for any occasion, a ride in the side X side or despite her fear of water which included a bath, boating, waterskiing, and even conquering the water banana at age 70. Her life motto was “I will Go until I can’t”
She had a passion for crocheting. Her dish-cloths remain a coveted commodity. If you were lucky enough to be on the receiving end of one of these treasured cloths, you were lucky enough.
LouAnn excelled at many things such as her career as a beautician, seamstress and as quality control for Beehive Clothing Mills. She had a keen recollection of genealogy and past events. However, her greatest achievement was her role as a mother to Vicki (Roy), Kerry (Samme), Bobbi (Brett), Randy (Brenda), Scott (Deceased), Darryl (Michele), and Todd (Kirstin). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
There is no doubt she will be missed deeply and daily. Mom leaves us all with many fond and lasting memories and memories are a way to hold on to the things we love. They are those timeless treasures within our hearts that keep our loved ones close. A good friend once said: “Our moms teach us everything except how to live without them.”
A viewing for LouAnn will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM with a graveside service to follow at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
