Lotuatamaiti Tu’Uao

Our Mother Lotuatamaiti Gasu Tu’uao was called back to our Heavenly Father on August 12, 2017. Lotu was born on October 8, 1950, in Satuimalufilufi, Upolu Western Samoa to Satia and Talafu Gasu. She is the second oldest child out of 14. She came to America at the age of 18 in 1969. She later met and married our Father, Pemani Tu’uao Sr. on November 1, 1975. She was involved in several scouting programs and held plenty of LDS church callings. She was always serving family and friends. We will miss her contagious smile and sense of humor. She is survived by her children; Tuliliau Reta Tu’uao (Will Sosi); Pemani Tu’uao Jr. (Mervonie A.); Satia Tu’uao (Kentrelle Scott); Taoipu Tu’uao (Diana D); Aati Filifaiesea Tu’uao (Priscilla P.); and Milton Sama Aiono. Lotu’s prosperity includes 22 grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 23, at the Mapusaga Ward located at 3970 South 5200 West, West Valley City, at 9am. Lotu will be laid to rest beside her Granddaughter, Sadie Tu’uao, at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery. We want to thank everyone for their kind regards, love, service, and support towards our Gasu/Tu’uao Family.
