He was born on April 3, 1942 in Breslau, Germany to Walter and Elfriede Eisert. He married his Junior High School sweetheart and the love of his life on August 12, 1961. They were later sealed for Time and all Eternity in the Cardston, Alberta Temple. He celebrated his 62nd wedding anniversary with his sweetheart earlier this month. He served in the United States Air Force then worked as an Auto Mechanic for Neil’s Service Station. He retired from AT&T after 30+ years working as a service technician.

He enjoyed working in the scouting program and coaching little league baseball, basketball, and soccer. He taught lapidary and silversmithing at Midvale Community Night School. His family meant everything to him, nothing brought him more joy than spending time with them. Whether it was going to Bear Lake, camping, fishing, boating, riding motorcycles, or family vacations; he loved being with them. He was always willing to share his knowledge, talents, and time with those around him. Day or night, he was always willing and ready to come to our aid and rescue.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn, four sons Robert (Renee), Gary (Teresa), Keith (Sandee), Brent (Robin), 24 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and sister Christe (David) Aamodt.
