Lorraine Lauritzen Watson Sargent Frazier

Our beloved mom, sister, grandma, G.G. and friend Lorraine Lauritzen Watson Sargent Frazier aka Rainy passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on March 17, 2024.  Born on September 10, 1932, her dad’s 39th birthday. She was 91 yrs old. 

She was born in Lincoln, Utah and raised on her family farm in Erda, Utah

In life she was kind, friendly and a very strong woman. She raised her 6 kids all alone. No child support, no alimony. She went to school and earned her secretarial degree graduating in 1967. During the fall of 1971 she bought her own home in West Jordan, Utah. She worked at Tooele Army Depot for 26 years, retiring in 1993.  Her kindness and love of babies, blessed many young moms by watching their children after her own work hours. She became close friends with one mom, Claudine Thompson. They remained close until the end. 

She is survived by her children, Daryld H. Watson, Randy L. Sargent, Vickie R. Russell, Tracy A. Meeks (Gary), Kathy L. Sargent (Shawn McLaughlin), her sister Anona R. Landry, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Nettie Lauritzen, her brother Glenn W. Lauritzen, her sisters, Leora Roach, H. June Bridwell, Donna B. Archambeau, Iva M. Clawson, Carol B. Carter, her son Paul D. Watson and her grandsons Austin G. Meeks and Chet B. Hansen. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22 @ 11 am. No viewing will be held.
