Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Lori Boothe Bailey passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 28, 2024 at the age of 67. Lori was born on November 6, 1957 to Merna Turner Boothe and Kennith Boothe. She grew up with her three siblings in Bountiful, Utah and graduated from Bountiful High School.
After attending Utah State University she married and was blessed with three sons. Her boys were her world. Her love and devotion to them was only matched by the love she had for her grandchildren.
Lori worked for many years as a hairstylist and massage therapist at Main Attraction on Bountiful's Main Street. There she developed lifelong friendships with her co-workers and clients. Her sons are incredibly grateful for the love these friends showed their mother and her family.
Lori had a love for cooking and often showed her love to family and friends by bringing home-cooked meals, freshly baked breads, or her famous cookies (a favorite among her family). Her food was an extension of her heart. She also loved making blankets. Each of her children and grandchildren have a blanket from her that they will treasure forever.
Those who knew Lori, knew that her greatest love was her family and friends and she loved traveling with them. In the last few years she was able to visit Disneyland with some of her grandkids, Japan with her good friend, and Mexico with her sister and cousins. She loved her big trips, but also found joy in the occasional weekend getaways to Lava Hot Springs with family or friends. Lori's greatest joy was her grandchildren and she attended as many of their games, concerts, and performances that she could. Her presence will be missed at these events.
Lori is survived by her siblings Pam Hogdson (Grant), Jeff Boothe (Stacy) and sister-in-law Nicole Boothe; her sons Matthew Bradshaw (Sarah), Mitchell Bradshaw, and Taylor Bradshaw; her eight amazing grandchildren Aidia, Davis, Bella, Maya, Greyson, Lukous, Bridger, and Oakley; and many nieces and nephews and extended family members she loved as her own. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Greg Boothe, and nephew Sheldon Boothe.
The family wishes to express their deep appreciation for the doctors, nurses, family, and friends who cared for Lori during her brief battle with cancer. Your kindness and support has been a great comfort to them.
There will be a small graveside service to honor and celebrate Lori's life on Friday, December 6th at 3:00pm at Memorial Lakeview Cemetery, 1640 Lakeview Dr. Bountiful, Utah. We invite those who knew and loved Lori to join us in remembering the beautiful woman she is.
