Loralee Dutson

Loralee Dutson, age 81 passed away on December 7, 2018 in Logan, UT. She was born on February 9, 1937 in Denver, CO. She married Elwood Dutson on December 16, 1954. Loralee loved to travel. She loved scrapbooking and took numerous pictures of family vacations. While her kids were growing, she loved to sew. In her early marriage years, she sang in a small group. She was an avid reader, and she could read 2-3 books a week.
Loralee is survived by her three children: Kayle (Lauralee), Diana, and John (Carolyn), her brother, Ewan, 9 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Elwood, and grandson Christopher.
Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 13768 South Rose Canyon Road, Herriman, Utah on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah, as well as one hour prior to the funeral.
Special thanks to her oncologist Dr. Ramya Thota and her staff for their love and care for our sweet mom. The family also thanks CNS Hospice and the staff at Williamsburg Retirement for making her feel like she was at home.
