Lole Ulisese Taula

Lole Ulisese Taula, age 79, of Taylorsville, Utah passed away peacefully on a gorgeous Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Our dad was a great friend, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Lole was born on September 5, 1941. His parents, Sulusi Taula and Vaovai Te’o precede him in death. Lole was also preceded in death by his eldest son, Ulisese, and 10 siblings.
In 1975, he married his eternal companion, Pepe So’onalote Faumui, in Auckland, New Zealand, and she survives him. Lole is also survived by daughters Grace (Esekia), Pepe (AJ), and his son Ulysses, as well as 1 great-grandchild, 14 grandchildren, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Our dad was a very loving, humble man who lived a fulfilling life. He took the best care of his family, especially his wife. He loved everyone and was a man of service, with a great sense of humor and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 12 p.m. at the Sauniatu Ward Building 5000 South 1950 West Taylorsville, UT. Interment to be followed at Memorial Redwood Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT.
 
Following Salt Lake County’s mandate on facial coverings, face masks are required at all public gatherings. Social distancing will be enforced. For those unable to attend the services, Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries are offering a live streaming of the funeral service on Zoom.
