Lola Irene Dye Lewis passed away on April 14, 2017. She was born on June 24, 1932 in Pocatello, Idaho to Robert Ernest Dye and Mary Irene Johnson. She married Frank S Lewis on July 7, 1950 and was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple.
Lola will be remembered for her feisty “I can do it!” spirit, her love of her family, her passion for music, her excitement for travelling with the Beehive Roamers chapter of the Good Sam RV Club, her impish smile and her love of service.
She is survived by her three daughters Karleen (Aisea) Satini, ReNae Palacios, and Teri Lin (Clayne) Pearson, adopted son Cliff Harmon, daughter-in-law Lisa McGray, 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one brother Therral Dye.
She is preceded in death by her husband, two sons Monty Frank Lewis and Larry Dean Lewis, one granddaughter Chelsea Pearson and one great-granddaughter Willow Carter, her parents, one brother Odell Dye and one sister Evaune Damron.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 19th at 11:00 am at the Kearns 5th Ward chapel, 4260 West 5215 South. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, April 18th from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.Service Information
