Lois Smethurst

Our sweet mother, age 88, passed away May 3, 2014. Born May 30, 1925 in Fairfield, ID to Archie and Mary Elizabeth Williams Leininger. Married Floyd Smethurst in 1941. Together they had three children. Mom enjoyed playing cards with her friends, traveling and activities with her family. She had a soft heart for her animals. Lois is survived by her children, Floyd (Sue), James (Gaydean) and Judy (Bill) Rose; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Floyd. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, May 9, 2014, at Redwood Memorial, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan with a visitation one hour prior.
