Lisa June Allen passed away at her home surrounded by those who love her on February 3, 2025, in her hometown of Murray, Utah. She was born May 27, 1965, to Col. Frederick Albert Allen and H. Dianne “Diny” (Shomaker) Allen, making her 59 years young.
Lisa was an amazing cook. She could whip up the most delicious home-cooked meals without a recipe. She added extra butter to all of her dishes, often known to say, “If it’s cooked with butter, it’s cooked with love.” She was well known in the kitchen as “Mrs. Butterworth.” Lisa was an impeccable housekeeper and loved taking care of those around her, especially her children and extended family. She greatly enjoyed her work as a beautician and being able to serve her community.
Left to treasure her memories are her children, Tasha Christie, Eric Allen, and Jon Gomes (Felicity), and her grandchildren, Seth, Leonidas, and Peyton, siblings Teri Christensen (Gary), Brandon Allen, as well as her father, Col. Fredrick Albert Allen.
Amongst the many angels welcoming her on the other side are mother, H. Dianne “Diny” Allen and her dear friend, Rodney Young.
A celebration of life will be held for Lisa on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at noon at the LDS Chapel on 932 West Green Oaks Drive in Murray, Utah.
