Linda Roscoe

July 3, 1943 — May 28, 2014

Born July 3, 1943 in Elwood City, PA, died May 28, 2014 in her home with her daughters at her side. Linda is once again in the loving arms of her husband, Bill Roscoe, whom she lost 7 short months ago. Linda was also preceded in death by June Maxine Latham Legocki, who she thought of as her mom, and loved dearly.
Linda took great pride in who she was, her appearance and what she had accomplished in life. She always stated, “I raised three wonderful children. Without them my life would not have been.” She would have done anything for her family and in return they learned love and devotion. Linda loved to stay busy by volunteering, shopping, playing Bingo or playing Dominoes at the Kearns Senior Citizen Center. Linda and Bill kept busy with their horses and their love for racing horses.
Linda is survived by her son, John; daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Clark; daughter, Shawna; step-son, Harold; step-daughter, Brenda; her dog, Precious and her always loyal cat, Tiger, who stayed by her side until the end. Linda has 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren that she loved dearly and who will greatly miss her.
Mom you are our rock, our foundation in life, you brought us up to respect and love. You showed us that we can do anything in this world we set our hearts to, with hard work and dedication. We watched you raise us on your own, many times not eating to feed us. You sacrificed a lot to make sure we had what we needed to live. You are our hero, a true hero to all that have known and loved you. The time we gave to help you in your last months will never repay what you have done for us. You gave so much and in the end asked for so little. We will see you soon. Goodbye GG.
