Linda Joyce Larsen Teasdale, age 72, returned home to her Father in Heaven on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
Linda was born July 6, 1950, in Driggs, Idaho to Clint Vernal Larsen and Karla Jean Hatch. She grew up and attended school in the Teton Valley and graduated from Teton High School. Later she graduated from Stevens-Henager Business College.
Linda learned the value of hard work through her time spent on the family farm. One experience she often talked about was that every year she would have to “pick rocks.” It seemed to her that as soon as she moved the rocks to the edge of the field, more seemed to grow back in their place. There were always more rocks to pick.
Linda married the love of her life, Jay Teasdale on July 17, 1970 in the Idaho Falls temple. They were blessed with two sons and later six grandchildren. Jay and Linda made their home in West Valley City, Utah
Linda spent her career working for different insurance agencies. She seemed to know the best ways to serve her customers. This played to her inherent strength of wanting to always help people.
As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Linda served faithfully in any calling she was asked to fulfill. One of the most difficult, yet rewarding callings she had was serving as the Relief Society president.
Family is the most important thing to Linda and she loved spending every moment with them. She enjoyed playing card games like Uno, Skipbo, and Progressive Rummy. She loved the beauty of nature. She made it a point to spend every Fourth of July up the canyon enjoying a big breakfast with her family and friends.
Linda loved unconditionally. Regardless of your background, when you were talking to Linda, you felt as if you were the most important person in the world.
Linda is survived by her son Brett (Diana) Teasdale; daughter-in-law Marci; her grandchildren, Andrea, AJ, Cameron, Lexi, Claire and Aidan; her brother Rex (Joyce) Larsen; and her sister Kay (Wendell) Marley. She was preceded in death by her husband Jay; her son Bryan; her parents Clint and Jean; her brothers Ray Dell and Dean; and her sister Karla DawnService Information
