Linda “Jeannie” Jean Anderson

Jeannie passed away December 16, 2016 due to many illnesses from the treatment of cancer. She was born on February 27, 1947. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Anderson. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on November 11, 1965. Jeannie held many positions in the LDS church and enjoyed all of them. Shortly after John passed away she moved to Arizona to enjoy the warm sun and make new friends. She loved being in the sun and the warmth it brings. She loved the most spending time with her family any family trips she was always looking forward to and making plans for the grand kids to enjoy the trip and time spent with them especially at Disneyland or even better Hawaii. Jeannie loved to travel and see all the places of the world she spent many Christmas’s in Hawaii and enjoying her family. She loved to cruise and went to the Bahamas and the Caribbean many times. There was only one trip she didn’t care too much for and that was the Alaskan cruise. It was too cold for her. Her favorite time of year was Christmas she loved putting up her village and adding things to it every year. The grandkids would always look forward to what new store mom had added to the village. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Survived by sons: Bret (Shuree) Anderson, Bart (LeeAnn) Anderson, grandkids: Chaz (Tasha) Anderson Tanner, Cole, Ashlee, Gabi, Cambri, Brooklynn, Logan and great-grand baby Paizlee Anderson.
Memorial service at LDS church on 3544 south Atherton Blvd Gilbert AZ 85297 at 11:00 am on December 22, 2016.
Final resting place will be at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on December 29, 2016, with a viewing one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
