Linda Diane Nemelka

Linda Diane Nemelka, 57, was born on May 22nd, 1962 in Riverside, California.  She married Cory David Nemelka Sr. on April 2 1980 and the marriage was solemnized April 2, 1981 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they were blessed with five wonderful children: Amanda Jean, Sarah Elizabeth, Cory David Jr., Jessica Anne, and Alicia Diane. She is survived by her ex-husband, children, and 12 grandchildren. She felt her greatest purpose and meaning in life was being a mother and wife and she found great joy, purpose, and fulfillment in those roles.  She also delighted in the company of her grandchildren. She loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and filled many positions of service as a member.  Among her favorite and most cherished blessings of family and her religion, she was also continually grateful for and in awe of the sheer beauty of the Rocky Mountains, where she lived the majority of her life in their shadows. She loved them in every season and was continually amazed by the beauty of the rising sun every morning and the splendor of the rising full moon over its peaks.  Yet still, her greatest joy and comfort came from her husband, children, and grandchildren. She never failed to thank her Father in Heaven for His innumerable blessings and her family and for the loving care and comforting support they always gave her throughout her life as a mother, wife, and grandmother.
She enjoyed art, particularly Monet and James Christensen, reading, poetry, travel, embroidery, playing piano, singing along with her favorite songs, going to musical concerts such as Josh Groban and Michael Buble, and most of all: spending time with her family. She loved music and listened to it every chance she had.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, send toilet paper. (She loved to laugh and would have thought that was hilarious!)
