Linda Albo passed away peacefully, August 30, 2018 in Murray, Utah. She was born July 1, 1944 to Joseph Gaitin and Charlotte Gray in Salt Lake City. She attended both Stevens Henager College and Salt Lake Community College to obtain her degree in business. She married Elfego Aguilar and raised their beautiful daughter, Kim “Kimmie.” She later divorced Elfego.
Linda was employed by UTA as their payroll administrator from March 14, 1977 to December 14, 2007. Throughout her 30 years of employment she displayed loyalty and integrity. The greatest joy of her life was her daughter, Kim Aguilar, granddaughter, Shaylee Cazares, great granddaughter, Novina and great grandson, Navien.
She married the love of her life, Bill Albo. They enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards, listening to music and holding huge family dinners and barbeques. She also enjoyed going to movies, taking trips to see her sisters, cooking and lots of shopping. She always looked forward to meeting with her retiree friends once a month. Linda will always be remembered by her hearty laugh and helping those in need.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Shaylee Cazaves, great granddaughter, Novina Cazavez and great grandson, Navien Cazavez, her sisters, brother and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter and husband Bill.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated, Saturday, September 22, 2018, 10:00 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1058 West 400 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Interment to immediately follow services at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 275 U Street, Salt Lake City.
