Lillian Krebs

Our sweet mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt and friend, Lillian Krebs passed away on March 2, 2018 in Taylorsville, Utah at the age of 91. She was born January 24, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William and Dorothy Lyman. She graduated from South High School and married Sidney Tanner on December 5, 1947. She had four children: Cathy, Wayne, Marlene and Jerry. She later divorced and married Roland Krebs on January 10, 1981.
Lillian was a seamstress for many years and loved to crochet while she was able. She loved to read books and write letters and poems. She loved dogs and animals, singing, solving puzzles and visiting with others. She loved the LDS Church and served in many callings. She loved to read the scriptures and attend church meetings whenever possible.
She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Sidney Tanner, her daughter Cathy Tanner, her husband Roland Krebs, her grandsons Scott Rogers and Paul Tanner, her daughter in law Vickie Tanner, her brother Milton and her sisters Grace and Louise.
She is survived by her children Wayne and Amy Tanner, Marlene and Sid Rogers, and Jerry Tanner, her grandchildren Cory and Michael (Amanda) Tanner, Lisa, Joseph, Dustin and Kathryn Rogers, her great grandchildren Stephvanie Tanner, Tyler and Anna Rogers, her brothers Richard and Don, and sister Virginia.
Lillian was loved dearly by family, relatives and friends. Our family would like to thank the many caregivers for their loving care. Also for the many friends and neighbors who have helped her over the years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Memorial Estates at 6500 South Redwood Road. The viewing will be at 9:30 AM and the funeral will start at 11:00 AM.
