Lila Joy Greenfield Watkins returned to the arms of our Savior on the evening of February 9, 2019 while surrounded by her family. She was born on November 17, 1943, in Murray Utah, to James R. Greenfield and Afton Iona Ray. On September 15, 1980 she married Jay R. Watkins.
Lila enjoyed many things including collecting Precious Moments figurines, flower arranging, crafting, and painting. She also found peace in a good book and traveling. Some of her fondest memories are of spending time in East Canyon boating and paling around with her friends, whom her children have lightheartedly nicknamed “the Rat-Pack”. She was strong in her faith and lead others to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
She is survived by her siblings Betty Mayne and Steve Greenfield, children David Allgood (Brenda), Debbie Caldwell (Ken), Mellanie Allgood (Calvin Quong), Candace Teerlink (Andy) and Patricia Glosser (Hal), six-teen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brother Jimmy Greenfield, Parents, grandson Justin Allgood, sister Darlene Miera, brother Robert Greenfield, and her husband.
