Our precious, wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather, age 90, joined his beloved eternal companion Mary on July 14, 2016. He did so surrounded by many loving family members.
Lee was born on Dec 13, 1925 in Salt Lake City to Sarah Jane Howard and Albert A. Comes. He married Mary Lillian Rasmussen on August 9, 1945, in the Logan LDS Temple. Lee graduated from Granite High School, where he received many athletic awards in Track and Field. Later he took many classes at the University of Utah. He also worked and retired from the U of U in HVAC Maintenance. Dad served in the U.S. Navy from Dec 7, 1943 to May 29, 1945 trained as a Medical Field Technician. He served in many church callings and was a great Scout Master for many year during which he earned his Eagle Scout Award. Dad loved the canyons and outdoors. He had many fun stories about fishing, hunting and camping. Dad was a very talented artist and could fix anything or he could make the part that would fix it. He was always studying, so as to learn all he could about everything. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to any of his family and friends.
