Leoncio Romero Gonzalez

September 25, 1992 — February 5, 2022

Leoncio “JuneBugg” Romero Gonzalez

Leoncio “Junior” Romero Gonzalez, 29, passed away on February 5, 2022 in his hometown of Kearns, Utah. Although he was taken from us too soon, Junior lived a full and incredible life. He was a hardworking and intelligent man. He accomplished anything that he set out to do. He was on his way to starting his own business, and has completed numerous projects throughout the valley that showcase his many talents.

Junior was born September 25, 1992 to Lupita and Leoncio Sr. Romero. His parents were his first priority; he loves them very much. They raised him to be a respectful and kind man with a heart of gold. Junior leaves behind a legacy of the people he helped. He was talented, funny, and always willing to help. Despite the fact that he worked long days, he always found a way to show up for the people he loved. If you needed him, he would find a way. He was everyone’s main man.

Junior was a man of immense energy and charisma. He was the life of the party. Everyone knew when he was there; his bright smile and contagious energy would light up the entire room. He had a way of making everyone feel special. He always set aside his needs to lift others up. Junior loved everyone, and everyone loved him. He will be dearly missed.

Junior loved spending time outdoors, boating, snowboarding, and spending time with loved ones. He leaves behind many fond memories. We lost our beloved son, brother, uncle, partner, mentor, and friend way too soon.

He is survived by his mom and dad Lupita and Leoncio Sr. Romero, sister Erika Cynthia Romero (Eduardo) Gonzalez Sanchez, nephews Kevin & Sebastian, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends that were family to him. Junior was always surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their life to the fullest, just as he did. As he would say, “you only live once, run it!”

Junior will be honored at Redwood Mortuary on February 14, 2022 from 2-4 pm. Following the viewing, we will meet for Mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church ( 4501 W 5215 S, Kearns, Utah 84118) at 5 pm.
