Leona Stone

Leona Enquist Stone passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Leona was born on November 5, 1929, to Frank and Elfie Johnson Enquist and was one of eight children.

On February 4, 1949 Leona married the love of her life Keith Stone and together they shared 54 wonderful years together and had three wonderful children. 

Leona was a very accomplished seamstress and enjoyed hand sewing Halloween costumes for her children and grandchildren. She also made quilts for those she loved. Leona was also well traveled and enjoyed going on many different cruises as often as she could.

Leona is survived by her son Robert (Peggy) Stone, her daughter JoAnne (Dale) Madsen, Her daughter-in-law Bisket Stone, 9 wonderful grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.

Leona is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Elfie, her husband, and her son Dale.

Leona will be dearly missed by those who knew her and she will remain forever in our hearts.
