Leo Frank Peterson

Leo F. Peterson passed away peacefully on July 1, 2022, of natural causes with family by his side. He was born on August 20, 1931, to Henry Peterson and Anna Cecelia Peterson (ReidI). He was raised in a family with six brothers and 5 sisters on the family farm in Dickey, North Dakota. He married the love of his life, Betty Peterson (Peterson) on November 12, 1955, and never parted. They raised 3 daughters, Betty Jean Fox, Judy Jimenez (Herb), and Terry Molloy (Larry). Leo spent his life providing for his family. He served during the Korean conflict in the army from February 1952 to February 1954. From there he worked for Thayne Trucking, and Gibbons and Reed as a heavy haul truck driver until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty, daughters Betty Jean and Judy, his parents Henry and Cecelia, and all eleven of his siblings. He is survived by his daughter Terry Molloy (Peterson) nine grandkids and fifteen great grandkids. Leo was a man of many talents. He had the ability to weld almost anything you could imagine. He would spend his family time camping and fishing with his many friends and family. He will be missed by many neighbors and friends that were close to him. A Viewing will be held on 7/12/22 from 6:30pm to 8:30 at Memorial Redwood, located at 6500 South Redwood Road. A graveside service will be held on 7/13/22 at 12pm with a Viewing prior at 10:30am.
