Leland Neil Redding

Leland Neil Redding, age 58, passed away on January 13, 2020 in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born on January 18, 1961 in Salt Lake City, UT to Joseph and Shirlene Redding. He married Paula J. Atwood on March 18, 1981 in the Salt Lake Temple. Leland was very kind and always made sure others were being taken care of, especially his family. In his pocket, he carried an index card with the following quote “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel!”
He is survived by his wife, his children Brandi (James), Shauntel (Kevin), Zachary, Taleesha (Skyler), and Jaren. Grandchildren: Britta, Kyzleigh, Kyra, Jace, Tazia, Kai, Aleia, and Paxton. Father, siblings, Jody (Bill), Larry (Rhonda), Wayne (Margaret), his mother in law Afton, brother in laws, David (Terrie) Dennis and Todd, and many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother Shirlene, his father in law Clive, brother in law Jerry, sister in law Becky, Paul, Shasta, grandparents, and many other loved ones. Many thanks to all the caregivers at LDS Hospital.
