Leila Mauchley

Leila Davona Mauchley was born on Sept. 10, 1928 to James and Mary Neilson.
Our amazing, kind, unselfish Leila, passed away peacefully, where she has wings like an angel and flew to heaven to be with Jesus. Leila was a very special Mom, Grandmother, Great-Grand mother, and Great-Great Grandmother. She had many friends along with seven sisters and one brother. She loved everyone and she made sure she told you how much you were loved.
She was a devoted Christian and held bible studies in her home for years. She loved the Bible. Leila loved singing and playing the harmonica and ukulele. Leila made beautiful crocheted items that were precious to her. In turn, she taught many her handiwork talent.
Leila with her sweetheart, Ivan (deceased) raised eight children. Now she can be with Ivan in heaven. Also, baby boy Ivan Lee, Gary Dee and Judy Lynn, the deceased children of Leila and Ivan are all in together again. Leila has missed them for a long time.
Leila taught many people, especially children. One might say she raised over 1,000 children for years, besides her own, with no complaining and wholeheartedly. She will be missed.
She was owner and founder of her “A Merry – Go – Round Day Care Nursery.”

Graveside services will be held on Monday September 28, 2015. at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT.
