Obituary
Leana Lynne Christison
Age 59, passed away on the quiet morning of Sunday March 6, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on November 19, 1962 in Agana, Guam to Steve and Bobbie Ewell. She was a graduate of Cottonwood High School and later married Jeffrey Lynn Christison on February 5, 1982. As a faithful servant of her Lord and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she served in many callings throughout her life. She was always willing to serve when called upon and never grew tired of serving other people. She loved serving in the Relief Society and teaching children. For over 25 years, she taught natural child birth classes to expecting mothers. She also served as PTA President in the Murray School District for many years. Over the past 8 years, she was working as Office Manager at Sorensen Vance and Company. Most importantly, she cherished being a Mother to her 5 beautiful children. And then came the fun…9 grandkids! They were her pride and joy! She loved singing, cooking, tea parties, gardening, and scrapbooking. Survived by her husband Jeff, mother Bobbie, siblings Cindy, Laine, and Brock, five children: Sloane (Austin), Sydney (Rawleigh), Holden, Quinne (Trask), Ridge, and 9 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father Steve. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Park Wardbuilding at 495 East 5600 South Murray, Utah 84107.
