Leahe Jane Simpson
February 14, 1925 — April 18, 2019
Leahe Jane Huber Simpson 94, passed away peacefully in St. George, Utah on Thursday, April 18, 2019. She was a Valentine baby, born February 14, 1925 to George and Elizabeth Huber in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Leahe spent most of her life in Salt Lake City. She and her husband, Don, moved to Sanders, Kentucky to spend time with their daughter, Donna. She returned to St. George, Utah in September 2017.
Leahe is survived by her daughter, Jackie Cooley (Ted); her son, Joseph Simpson (Karen); grandchildren: Jeffrey Lewis (Susan), Clinton Lewis, Shaela Knighton (Dan), James Oldroyd and Gaylene Oldroyd; and many great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Don Simpson; daughters, Donna Friend, Kay Simpson; son-in-law, Chester Friend; and grandson, Mitchell Kueffner.
I would like to thank the nurses and staff at Red Cliffs Health and Rehab for their dedication to Mom.
A viewing will be held at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 S. State street, Sandy, Utah, on Thursday, April 25 at 1 p.m. Following the viewing there will be a graveside service held at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, Utah, at 2 p.m.Service Information
