Lawrence “Larry” Walter Clark

July 2, 1941 — September 13, 2021

Our father, grandpa and great grandfather, passed away peacefully September 13, 2021 after a long battle with dementia. He’s now returned home to join his family, friends and fishing buddies waiting for his joyful reunion. Born July 2, 1941 to Coleman “Coke” Clark and Melba DeHaan Clark Schoenecke. Adopted by Roscoe Frederick Clark, who helped raise him as his own.
He graduated from East High School. Served in the 19th special forces. “Green Berets” and enjoyed Jump school.
He worked for Rick Warner Ford as a mechanic for nearly 38 years. After a short retirement he joined the crew at Home Depot where he enjoyed making new friends and assisting others in finding the newest tools available. He loved making others laugh. Loved to show the kids his finger he cut off telling them if they pick their nose, the bug would bite their finger off. He loved to fish the North Fork of the Salmon River Idaho catching steelhead. And any chance to fish Rockport or Strawberry with his family or “Pard” Bob Watson his favorite fishing buddy. He loved to bowl and play golf. He had a great love for dogs and spoiling them every chance he could.
Survived by son Brian Clark (Carrie), daughter Brenda Clark Welch (Eric Fletcher), 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Ex-wife Anita Morrison, husband Mike Morrison who spent countless hours helping take care of him.
Preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Dorothy Clark Walden, Marge Clark Williams, one daughter Bonnie Sue Clark.
