Larry Rodgers was called home on Saturday August 18th, 2018 in South Jordan Utah.  Born October 12, 1936 in Salt Lake City Utah to James Henry Rodgers and Hazel Rickart.  His father passed away when he was 4 and his Mother was later remarried to Bert Brimhall Sr.  He attended West High School where he met his lifelong sweetheart Carolyn Clive, they just celebrated 62 years of marriage, solemnized in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple in November 2017.
They had 5 children Kathy Rodgers Peterson (Dave), Tammy Baldwin (Gary) Ronald Rodgers (Pam), Larieann Kump (Ross), Charlie Gilbert (Jimmie). 18 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren.
Larry was an amazing Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, & Great Grandfather,  his Family was his pride and joy.  He was a great influence in all of ours and many others lives.
Larry served in the US Air Force, being an accomplished man he owned his own businesses of All In One Pest Control, R&R Pest Control & Cottonwood Coves Mobile Home Park. He had many interests and is remember for them such as dog sledding & dog showing. He was also a Champion Skeet Shooter.
He is survived by his brother Bert Brimhall Jr. (Lawana), and sister Susan Gayler (Wayne), proceeded in death by his Parents and brother Kenneth D. Rodgers.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday August 22, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm Redwood Memorial Mortuary 6500 S. Redwood Road Taylorsville, Ut 84123
Funeral services will be held Thursday August 23, 2018 1:00 pm with a viewing one hour prior. 10124 S. 1300 W. South Jordan Utah 84095
Interment will follow funeral at Redwood Memorial Mortuary.
